Yohanes and Olivia have been married for 20 years and are the proud parents of three incredible sons. Together, they have dedicated their lives to advancing the Kingdom of God through worship, discipleship, and strengthening the Messianic Jewish expression within their community. As an eldership couple and worship leaders, they have poured into the body of Messiah, equipping families and fostering unity among believers.
Their journey of faith and mission has led them to serve in Ethiopia, where their hearts burn to see the nation restored to its God-given calling.
Since 2017, they have led three outreach teams into Ethiopia, impacting communities through humanitarian projects, strengthening local believers, and building bridges with churches. They believe in an Ethiopia where families are whole, communities are self-sustained, and people live as worshipers of the living God, shaping future generations in righteousness and truth.
As the founders of Gihon of Hope, Yohanes and Olivia are committed to seeing Ethiopia thrive—spiritually and practically. Their mission includes planting a Messianic congregation in Addis Ababa, establishing a Children’s Home, and empowering communities through discipleship and sustainable development. They long to see generations of faithful disciples rising from the Horn of Africa, proclaiming the name of Yeshua and bringing light to the nations.
With a deep love for Israel, the global body of Messiah, and the unity of Jew and Gentile, Yohanes and Olivia walk in obedience to God’s calling—restoring hope, building bridges, and preparing the way for His kingdom on earth.
Errol (Johnny) and Teresa Sharpe have been married for 40 years and have dedicated over three decades to leadership roles in Tikkun’s network congregations. After having two biological children, they welcomed two more through adoption, whom they lovingly call the “children of their heart.” Their passion for helping vulnerable children deepened during their service in Ethiopia, where they saw many orphaned by war, poverty, and illness.
They worked at House of Mercy, a group home for 30 children, while initiating projects for malnourished infants and education for impoverished youth. Their commitment extended beyond work; they formed lasting bonds with many from the program. Since 2017, they have led three outreach missions to Ethiopia with Yohanes and Olivia, ministering to children and families in need.
Last year, a missions course reignited their call to full-time mission work, inspiring them with the message, “I am not finished with you yet.” Johnny and Teresa exemplify their motto: There is no retirement in the Kingdom of God!
Isaiah 40:31: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Thaddeus and Hannah have been married for over ten years and recently welcomed their long-awaited firstborn son, a true answer to prayer. As dedicated deacons at Kingdom Living, they serve in various capacities and currently lead a weekly home group gathering. They are passionately committed to providing love and stability as foster parents, opening their home to many children in need.
During their first outreach to Ethiopia, they were profoundly moved while distributing school supplies to underprivileged children and ministering to the Jewish community. This experience reawakened their calling to the mission field and inspired them to be catalysts for placing orphans in loving families.
